New range of Microwave Moisture and Density Measuring systems

Tews Elektronik are announcing their new range of Microwave Moisture and Density Measuring systems distributed in the UK by Isatec Ltd. The MW1150 is designed for use in the production environment, for routine, non-destructive, accurate moisture and density measurements in a wide range of applications from pharmaceuticals to food products, from natural products to building materials. This powerful, cost effective instrument is contained in a compact housing with an LCD user interface and integrated sensor, making it ideal for use in either the laboratory or At-line.

A range of different sized cylindrical cavity sensors are available depending on the relevant moisture levels and sample size making preparation of samples (e.g. pulverisation) unnecessary. The MW1150 has a measuring range of 0.0% to 70.0% dependant on material and can store 20 different product calibrations.
