Inserts with Bottom Spring

Chromatographers can reduce cost and save time in the laboratory with Big Mouth Inserts with Polymer Bottom Springs, available from J.G. Finneran ­Associates. The ­inserts have a capacity of up to 250 µl and are available, as is, or preassembled with polymer bottom springs. The spring acts as a shock ­absorber that protects against breakage if the needle bottoms out. The ­design of the insert permits complete sample removal. They are available in either glass or plastic with dimensions of 6x29 and 6x31 respectively. They are used in vials with big mouth openings.
