Highspeed Imaging with 10bit CMOS camera

The 10bit CMOS camera pco.1200 hs has a superior image rate of 640 fps at full resolution (1280 x 1024pixel) which can be further increased by reducing the area of interest i.e. 1357fps at VGA resolution.

With its 10bit pixels it comprises image memory in the camera (camRAM) of up to 4GB. Due to the ring buffer operation mode, the recordings can be stopped when the event has happened. Still the sequence of interest would be in the image memory, therefore the “history” is not lost.

Like all cameras of the pco.camera family the user can select between two pixelclocks. The camera is connected to a PC via standard interfaces (IEEE1394, camera link and from Q4/2007 GigE Vision). The camera is also available with color image sensor and one of the best color conversion algorithms in the application software camware.
