Heat-resistant cable carriers

In foundries and steel works, cable carrier assemblies are subjected to constant high temperatures. Kabelschlepp offers three suitable solutions for such high-heat applications. All three variants are proven systems which have been used in practice for many years. The plastic cable carriers with cover systems of a special material are designed for temperatures up to 850°C. They are suitable for short-time exposure to chips. Hybrid cable carriers consist of plastic chain bands with aluminium covers. This means that the temperature and the dwell time of the hot chips play practically no role. The third and best solution for continuous thermal loading is steel cable carriers. To protect the cables, use is made of aluminium covers or a steel band fastened between the two chain bands.
