BMG Labtechs family of Optima microplate readers is designed for the widest possible range of fluorescence, luminescence and absorbance applications. The Windows based Optima software now includes a Quick Start feature which can be used to run a plate immediately without programming more complicated test definition parameters. Click Quick Start, click measurement type, select filters and you are reading your plate it is that simple. Spend time running assays, not programming instruments. Of course it is still possible to use the myriad of control options that you would expect with the Optima software-precision injector control, multiple shaking options, flexible plate layouts, automatic dilution and calculation of unknowns, multiple wavelength reads, script mode, and more.
