Using the IMUBIND® ADAMTS13 family of ELISAs you can rapidly measure the critical hemostatic components involved with von Willebrand (vWF) processing and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP).
ADAMTS13 (vWF cleaving protease) proteolytically cleaves ultralarge vWF multimers. Malfunctioning of ADAMTS13 results in accumulation of vWF multimers in plasma that can lead to pathologic thrombosis formation and the life-threatening condition called TTP.
