Plug-and-Measure: Transmitters with interchangeable sensor head

Galltec+Mela have turned the users’ desire for Plug-and-Measure (PM) in everyday humidity measurement into reality by introducing their product line PM. The exchangeable sensor head PMU (Plug-and-Measure Unit) allows exchange with factory calibrated sensor heads in a matter of seconds.

The sensors with hx-processor have two parallel outputs where the values of relative humidity and temperature, or values derived from these, such as enthalpy, absolute humidity, water content, dew point and wet-bulb temperature are available as analogue signals (0-10 V, 0-1 V, 4-20 mA).

Depending on the application, it may be better to use the rod shaped transmitter in the plastic housing (version PM15P) or the transmitters with a stainless steel sensor tube (version PM-V).

Transmitters with exchangeable Plug-and-Measure sensor heads are available as well in networkable versions, f. e. for use under extreme conditions (up to 200°C or 25 bar, series PM-VS without hx-processor) or for local applications, e.g. for monitoring measurement data from a laptop (networkable standard sensor PM15PS, without hx-processor).
