New Osmometer with complete Sample Identification

For more than 30 years Löser Messtechnik based in Berlin-Spandau develops and produces Osmometer and Cryometer for medical, biological and chemical Laboratories. The company is owned by Axel Löser, who continues the Osmometer-Tradition of his father after finishing studies and 7 years of professional practice for different companies. We are not only present in Germany but also in Europe. The first step was the consistent further development of the reliable Osmometer type 13 with the intention to present our customers a reliable unit which is adjusted according to changed laboratory demands. This led to the Osmometer type 15.

 

Type 15 provides the user a graphic display with menu led operation and error messages with six selectable languages. This allows easy and safe use of the unit. All configuration can be easily done with the plastic film keyboard which is built into the front side. This is also possible for the flexible data interfaces for PC, printer and scanner, which are standard.

 

One great advantage is the integrated sample identification. Every measurement can have an identification number of up to 17 characters or numbers (maybe a patient or case number). Input is possible with the keyboard or a connected barcode scanner. The Osmometer adds date and time to this number and stores it with the measuring value. The customer is thus able to document the last 100 measurements and calibrations clearly.

 

Additionally it is possible to switch the measuring values from mosm/kg H₂O for the concentration to m°C for the direct temperature of the sample. This is very helpful in research and university applications. A cleaning function for the freezing needle, automatic defrosting of the sample slot and a low power consumption complete the new development. Additionally you can order a dot matrix printer for value output and a barcode scanner.
