The modular Rapid Roll 300 interior door with its many variants ranks among the classic models of industrial high-speed doors. It is characterized by rugged functionality and a high level of economy. New features of the Rapid Roll 300 Plus now provide for additional comfort and increased safety during operation. A light curtain can now be integrated instead of the stationary light barrier. This light curtain has a greater detection range and guarantees safe passage even during times of heavy traffic in the door area. If a collision nevertheless occurs, there is almost no damage done and it can easily be rectified. The optional crash mechanism contributes to this. It ensures that the door yields in a controlled manner at a given point in the event of a collision. At that point, the door profile can then be easily re-aligned and put into operation. This makes long downtimes a thing of the past.

 

The Rapid Roll 300 Plus has a standard counterbalance, which allows for manual self-opening of the door. The door in this design can be uncoupled by the operator by actuating a brake air lever. The energy stored in the counterbalance then ensures that the door opens and makes the way available. Alternatively, in the event of a power outage, the automatic self-opening function of the door can also be provided: In this case, the door opens automatically without any further actions on the part of the operator when the power supply fails. Both variants ensure trouble-free exiting of a building area in the event that the power supply for the powered operation of the doors is temporarily interrupted.

 

The optionally available curtain tension system contributes to a quiet and safe door operation. The selection of a controller with a frequency converter also ensures low-noise, low-wear and quick operation. In addition, the door is characterized by its clear optical characteristics, which is further enhanced by the interior cable routing. Among other things, it has a positive effect on the servicing interval of the doors.

 

All Rapid Roll 300 doors are available in dimensions up to 3,500 x 3,500 mm. The opening and closing speed of these models is approximately 1.2 m/s using a standard controller and opening speeds up to 1.8 m/s are possible using a frequency converter. The door curtain consists of transparent PVC-fabric with colored pullcords; alternatively, very rigid RollTex-fabric can be used. This can be provided with windows if needed.
