The Gilson PrepELS Detector is an advanced ELSD featuring Thermo-Split Technology. A simple, low-maintenance static splitting system can accommodate flow rates up to 75 ml/min. The detector can accommodate sample masses up to 5 mg without driving the signal off scale and it has unsurpassed capabilities on the analytical scale with the ability to detect analyte down to the low-nanogram level. A unique filtering technology allows for the removal of baseline noise without affecting peak height or shape. The ELSD can be added as the primary, or as an additional, detector to any Gilson preparative or analytical system, or to any other HPLC system on the market. It is designed to be rugged and easy to maintain. A straight drift tube design allows for easy cleaning. With the ability to detect analytes with or without a chromophore, Gilson's ELSD is the ideal purification choice for obtaining the purest fractions.
