New Dimensions in Micro-XRF Elemental Analysis

Ocean Optics introduces the HR2000+, a remarkably fast, high-resolution spectrometer that generates up to 1,000 full spectral scans every second and can achieve optical resolution to 0.035 nm (FWHM). The HR2000+ is perfect for chemical, biochemical and other applications where fast reactions need to be monitored and fine spectral features need to be resolved.

Available for just € 3.084, the HR2000+ integrates into a high-resolution optical bench a powerful 2-MHz A/D converter, programmable electronics, a 2048-element CCD-array detector, and a USB 2.0 port. This innovative combination allows users to capture and store a full spectral scan into memory every millisecond when the spectrometer is interfaced to a PC via the USB port. The HR2000+ is responsive from 200–1100 nm, but its specific range and resolution depend on a user's grating and entrance slit selections. Users can select from 14 gratings and six slit sizes. Ocean Optics offers hundreds of accessories allowing users to configure application-specific systems.
