EcoMask is a single use anaesthetic face mask that is both ecologically friendly and economical, offering a truly single use option. It is a totally non-PVC product, which overcomes the cleaning and disposal problems of non-environmentally friendly cushion masks, as it can be incinerated without the release of bio burdens.
The anatomical shape fits the contours of the patient's face giving a precise seal, which ensures a lower level of anaesthetic gas leakage during induction.
EcoMask utilises a soft silicone like seal that gives improved patient comfort. The bonded transparent shell provides excellent patient visibility, providing the user with a clear view of the patient's lips to detect any onset of cyanosis. There are seven sizes available ranging from neonatal, size 0 to extra large adult, size 6.
