Active Vibration Isolation

With the "Active Workstation 780" and "Active Workstation 900," Halcyonics will be unveiling the first two types of a brand-new series of compact, active vibration isolation systems at the Laser trade show. These developments incorporate the objectives of combining exceptionally high vibration isolation and ergonomic design. Applications for these workstations include laser interferometers, measurement and inspection systems in the semiconductor field, scanning probe or laser scanning microscopes as well as cell biology applications, such as electrophysiology. Unlike all passive vibration isolation systems, the company's lab tables generate virtually no low-frequency resonance.
