Kistler's new modular K-line pressure transmitter satisfies the needs of chemical and process technology for a pressure sensor that offers high resistance to chemical corrosion. Through the application of its expertise with special materials and processes, Kistler has developed a pressure sensor with a gold plated diaphragm to meet these special requirements. The gold plating resists attack by process media with high concentrations of corrosive gases. For example, the K-line is resistant to hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen, ethylene and chloride.
This sensor is characterized by excellent process capability and long service life. For example, the K-line pressure transmitter can be used to monitor the safety of cylinder compressors for corrosive media in the process industry continuously, reliably and precisely over long periods of time. By quickly detecting defects, process monitoring slashes downtime and maintenance costs, as well as offering high reproducibility in complex processes.
Kistler engineers produces the process connections and signal outputs of the K-line pressure transmitter to the customer's specification.
