Microwave Motion Detector

With its non-contacting microwave motion detector FlowJam, SWR Engineering has solved the problem of flow monitoring in many process areas involving solids. The application areas are e.g. in pneumatic conveying plants, material feed or volumetric metering systems. FlowJam-H is now available for applications requiring high sensitivity, where small quantities of dust have to be detected immediately. Otherwise the device is available in an S version with short sensor housing. In this case the sensors are separated from the electronics. This eases installation in confined places and simplifies commissioning where several measurement points are used, as adjustment can be undertaken centrally from the control room.
