IVD-conformance Confirmed for DNA-Chip

Greiner Bio-One has received confirmation of a complete and correct guideline-conformance rating for its ParoCheck DNA-chip for the identification of up to 20 periodontal pathogens. Specifically, the testing agency LGA InterCert GmbH in Nürnberg finds the chip in compliance with the European guideline for in-vitro diagnostics (IVD). Greiner Bio-One views this positive result as an important signal for the development of further biochips for the diagnostic market, as well as a milestone towards the certification of its innovative DNA-chip for the US-American market.
