The Apollo-8 (LB 912) is a microprocessor-controlled 8-channel microplate photometer designed to measure the optical density of liquid in the wells of microplates. The digital light control system with automatic self check and self-calibration ensures operation with an adjusted instrument during lifetime. Positive filter detection helps the user to detect incorrectly inserted filters.
The Apollo is equipped with an integral shaking module. The very robust design and the use of industrial grade components make the Apollo-8 the ideal instrument for demanding high throughput applications.
