Groundbreaking Immigration Gate from Gunnebo Entrance Control
Gunnebo Entrance Control's award winning and innovative ImmSec is a truly automatic immigration gate system with the facility of integrating electronic passage control. It is designed to meet the increasing demands of stringent border control/security with efficient passenger flow capacity, up to and in excess of 300 passengers per hour.
The ImmSec is developed with the objective of Simplifying Passenger Travel (SPT) using automated and secure passport processing. This is possible because the ImmSec can be interfaced to Machine Readable Travel Document devices, biometric readers and optical detection technology (secure single person detection) which relieves manned monitoring and speeds up the immigration process thus increasing efficiency and reducing operating costs.
The ImmSec is an immigration gate with two double panels separated by a 1.5 m integrated corridor where Gunnebo Entrance Control's unique T-DAR single person detection and passport verification takes place. The identity of the occupant is verified with passport scanning and biometric identification of the passenger to a method selected by the specific government immigration authority. Unauthorised access attempts are prevented with advanced sensing and alarm technology.
The ImmSec is designed to create a physical sluice to hold the occupant whilst the T-DAR sensing system monitors for single or multiple person occupancy. Once the system has determined single person occupancy within the confines of the ImmSec the system controller communicates with the passport/immigration authorisation device to allow completion or rejection of the passage. The ImmSec is additionally capable of allowing passage with luggage, plus detection of left objects once the passenger has vacated the gate.
The ImmSec in standard format is available with a 600 mm or 900 mm lane width to meet global disabilities legislation.
Applications for the ImmSec are for passport/ immigration control at airports, land frontiers and sea ports etc, aircrew access to the terminal, transit clearance and general application requiring an ultra high security.
