Multi Functionality ID Badging

Installed at many of the world's largest airports, the CEM AC2000 Airport Edition system offers integrated access control, alarm monitoring and ID badging with a host of functions and modules designed specifically for the unique airport environment. The system can be customised to meet the specific needs of each airport with new functionality added as the airports security needs change over time. Using the experience gained working with Airports, CEM can provide a range of products and systems to meet the exclusive needs of the Port sector. Since installing its first system at Belfast International Airport in 1987, CEM Systems has installed its AC2000 Airport Edition (AC2000 AE) system throughout all the major airports in the U.K. The system handles more than 1.5 million card swipes/month. At Manchester and Stansted airports, Card transaction data is passed on to an external payroll system or used with the CEM Time & Attendance module for calculation of working hours. At Heathrow, the system sends broadcast data to the readers and monitor units. If a quiet evacuation of an area is required, the system is programmed to unlock a number of doors.
