VIP Modules Make Any Camera an IP Camera

VCS's tiny VIP modules are designed to make a dramatic impact on the availability of IP-enabled video cameras. They are the first affordable, full-function network video transmitters intended specifically for bringing the full range of analogue cameras to the IP video world. There are two versions of VIP available, the VIP10 and the VIP1000. Both are flexible and full-featured, offering high-quality, full-motion, dual-streaming video encoding, with bi-directional intercom audio and full PTZ control. The VIP10 has dual-stream MPEG4 video suitable for most CCTV applications while the VIP1000 adds DVD-quality MPEG2 video for demanding applications. For manufacturers who want to innovate around the VIPs, they include a full USB port to allow built-in FLASH memory and hard-disk recording, and a mini-PCI interface for wireless LAN module support. VIP modules are also available boxed with connectors, so that manufacturers don't have to worry about EMC testing and UL certification.
