Monochrome Microscope Camera

Jenoptik has extended its camera product line by introducing a second monochrome microscope camera. The QuantiFire model features a cooled four-megapixel sensor with a sensor area diagonal as great as 21.4 mm. Featuring active and passive sensor cooling, the camera performs with an improved signal-to-noise ratio and provides a distinctly higher sensitivity. The large sensor surface allows microscope users to record the full field of view digitally as seen through the microscope oculars. Among the digital microscope cameras with a FireWire interface, the camera is the only one to combine sensor cooling with a large sensor format. It includes the comprehensive "Picture Frame"
software suite providing a multitude of imaging processing
functions such as "Image Merging" and "Image Mixing".
