RJ45 in IP20 for improved vibration resistance

Yamaichi Electronics introduce a new product to the Y-Con industrial connector series: an IP20 protected RJ45 connector designed for high vibration environments. It has a new and improved locking mechanism which, thanks to the ergonomic locking clips can be handled easily and without the need for tools. The mechanism ensures high vibration stability and excellent retention characteristics for the connection.
The Y-ConIP20Lock-10 is the smallest IP20 vibration stabile solution with additional locking mechanism. Its compact design allows not only integration into 19-inch rack systems, but also makes it suitable for a large number of industrial applications where vibration stability is a main issue, for example: rail and traffic systems, mechanical engineering video link systems.
The holding frame is compatible with all jacks available on the market and is screw-mounted to the application unit. It is available as a single, double, quad and, on request, eightfold version.
The strain relief with locking clips is suitable for all Y-ConRJ45 connectors, also for those having additional power contacts.
