Smart camera with 100 frames per second

With the new PICTORr M1248/E model, Vision & Control breaks the sound barrier with 100 frames/second for smart cameras! Based on a progressive scan CCD sensor with 640 x 480 pixels, the system is able to reliably function with very rapid processes of up to 107 full images per second. Image acquisition is via superfast triggering and image data is processed by a digital signal processor in close proximity to the sensor, enabling microsecond accuracy.

Equipped with Ethernet, digital I/Os and superfast trigger input, the PICTORr M1248/E also has all the other requirements valued by automation technicians and mechanical engineers for integration: an extensive range of functions (measurement technology, OCR, surface control, position/rotational position recognition, pattern recognition, blob analysis, extensive communication tools and protocols, etc.) as well as operation from PC via the VCWin universal user interface.

This provides users with powerful tools to solve Machine Vision applications quickly, effectively and with a variety of methods. VCWin can be used immediately at the machine to test and amend programs. This leads to a dramatic reduction and simplification in commissioning.

The use of the VICOREMr remote control interface makes integration of the PICTOR M1248/E into any Machine Vision concept straightforward.
With the PICTORr M1248/E, Vision & Control extends its range of standard systems with an intelligent high-speed camera. With VICOSYSr multi-camera systems also available, Vision & Control now covers the entire spectrum of Machine Vision systems.
