CARBOLITE CUTS PRICES OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE CHAMBER FURNACES

Carbolite is re-launching its range of high-temperature chamber furnaces following a re-engineering exercise which has considerably improved performance in many respects.

The new HTF furnaces are bench-top models with maximum operating temperatures of 1700°C and 1800°C. They incorporate 6/12 molybdenum disilicide elements, which are more durable than the type previously used and also give better cycling performance and temperature uniformity in the chamber.

The combination of element performance and low thermal mass insulation produces rapid heating – for example, the HTF17/10 model reaches 1600°C in 50 minutes. Despite the high chamber temperatures, an improved cooling system ensures the outer case is safe to touch. A new streamlined style of door with a hidden mechanism has also been fitted.

All models have high-quality Eurotherm programmers and facilities for connection to a computer through an RS232 connection as standard.
