Flexible 5-Megapixel Camera

The AxioCam MRc5 with its 5-Megapixel sensor generates extremely high-resolution color images very quickly and with perfect color reproduction thanks to its 36-bit color depth. Optimized signal processing and Peltier cooling
of the sensor mean that even weak specimens are no
problem. Connection to a FireWire interface enables
fast delivery of live images, while flexible modes allow for
a broad range of applications. In addition, the camera is supplied as a total package with AxioVision-based intuitive imaging software.

Application

The camera is suitable for a wide range of applications in routine and research light microscopy. Rapid throughput accompanied by very high resolutions and absolute color accuracy are key factors. In materials microscopy the camera can be used for analysis and documentation in all application areas. Typical biomed applications are in pathology, histology and cytology.
Examples of the applicable microscopic contrasting techniques include bright field, dark field, DIC and polarization.Features:
