New European Regulation for Aviation Security

The tragic events of September 11, 2001 led to the need for new regulations to improve security systems. Regulation EC No 2320/2002 of the European Parliament and the council have established common rules in the field of civil aviation security. According to Annex Nr. 12.3 a training program is to be conducted for the airport and airline staff with access to security restricted areas. The training shall contribute towards raised security awareness and has a duration of at least 3 hours.

ProIst is designed on the learning objective to train aviation staff by using an experienced and effective learning content management system (LCMS) and best practice classroom training. Different learning modes are integrated in one training concept using the advantages of each mode for different situations. This kind of learning is called "Blended Learning". The expression is usually well known as the way to blend different sorts of malt whisky in order to guarantee a consistent quality.

ProIst is More than an E-Learning-System

The new e-Learning System ProIst is available as an intranet system for airport staff ad an internet system, and as classroom training for partners, airlines and suppliers. It contains the necessary state-of-the-art learning methods and is ready-to-run within a few weeks. The flexible and open architecture enables customizing to the needs of the organization, such as integrating corporate design or additional content for safety training. The advanced version can be connected to the ID card system of the airport and enables automated communication to the ID card system concerning the completion of the course, and printing certification after passing successful testing.

ProIst Provides Relevant and Understandable Content

ProIST is delivered with all the necessary lessons and testing courses to fulfil the objectives of the new regulations.
