Ici Microscopy Technology

The Ici Microscopy technology from the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology enables combined 2D and 3D inspection in microscopy for the first time, for 100% inline quality control with resolutions in the single-digit µm range and a capture rate of up to 60 million image and 3D points per second.

Parallax effects are used specifically for fast 3D depth reconstruction. Multiple images from different angles and illumination modules make the technology versatile – even for dark or shiny materials – in high-quality manufacturing processes and continuous production lines.
