This system combines innovative approaches with proven functions. With the help of modern point cloud sensor technology, VMT Cloud-BK creates a fully digital representation of an object with just one scan. Instead of individual point measurements, it enables a complete recording of the component geometry, from which any number of virtual sections can be extracted. These are used for precise position correction without the need for additional robot movements.

VMT Cloud-BK therefore offers numerous advantages: It impresses with efficiency, as all relevant image information is captured in a single shot, eliminating the need for time-consuming robot movements. It also impresses with flexibility, because virtual cuts can be set at any point and as often as required, without the need for robot reprogramming or additional cycle time. Finally, the system is scalable: the point cloud sensor technology used can be flexibly adapted to specific requirements, such as working distance, image field size or resolution.
