10GigE camera Eros
While many camera manufacturers are trying to develop smaller housings or more energy-efficient models, the Eros camera series goes one step further.
It combines compactness with the performance of 10GigE at a power consumption that even undercuts many 5GigE cameras. The camera is fully equipped and offers all the features of its larger counterparts – but in a format that opens up new integration possibilities.
The Eros series is the world's smallest and most power-efficient 10GigE machine vision camera, with a 29 × 29 mm housing and a power consumption of just 3 W (SFP+) or 4.8 W (RJ45 PoE). It supports RJ45 (with and without PoE) and SFP+ for high flexibility and scalability in multi-camera applications. With optimized GigE Vision GVSP technology, the cameras enable lossless data transmission with minimal latency – perfect for real-time, compute-intensive applications. Supported by GPU-direct processing, 50 or more Eros cameras can be integrated into a single system. These systems are more cost-effective because the price of the Eros camera is the same as that of a typical 5GigE camera.
