Visiconsult has solved this challenge with Compass, an AI-supported tool for automatic defect detection that is used as an assistant or autonomously.
It currently supports the inspection of cast parts, weld seams, honeycomb structures and electronic parts. In less than 0.2 s, Compass delivers results with an accuracy of over 98 percent in many applications. Pre-trained models lead to rapid acceptance and require no programming by the inspector.
