Software function Anomaly Detection for Visual Inspection
MVTec Software has teamed up with Siemens to bring the power of machine vision to the Siemens Industrial Edge ecosystem.
MVTec has published the first application for optical quality control with the name “Anomaly Detection for Visual Inspection”. The algorithms originate from MVTec's Merlic product. The app helps users to solve complex inspection tasks quickly and easily with the help of AI technologies. Logical and structural defects on objects are found without the need for programming, in-depth machine vision knowledge or error-prone, tedious data labeling.
