Scanning device AIT Smartgate Plus
The AIT Smartgate Plus is a scanning device that automatically scans and records all 1D and 2D codes on a pallet while it is on a forklift truck or conveyor belt.
With very short working distances and a speed of up to 4 km/h, the codes can be read during operation. The gate is usually positioned directly at the dock door. With the Smartgate Plus, automation can be taken even further: Volume control (length, width, height), counting layers, number of collis/packages, identifying the pallet, checking for damage and strapping. Two sensors are sufficient for each side to cover a pallet height of 2 m.
