In concrete terms, this means that the camera outputs compressed live video (H264) in full HD at high speed, which can be displayed on end devices via the RTSP protocol. The camera is the result of a collaboration between IDS and the semiconductor manufacturer Ambarella and makes consumer technology available for demanding applications in industrial quality.

The IDS NXT Malibu is equipped with Ambarella's CVflow AI Vision System on Chip. Users also benefit from the SoC's in-camera AI capabilities.
