Ziemann & Urban: Hekutip QC inspection system

Pipette manufacturers can save themselves time-consuming examinations in measuring rooms, as many measuring and testing tasks can now be integrated fully automatically into an existing production line. With the stand-alone Hekutip QC inspection system, which was developed by Hekuma and Ziemann & Urban, users can telecentrically inspect a pipette tip for parameters such as diameter, burrs and wobble circles with an accuracy of less than 1 μm using several camera perspectives. Fifteen features can be checked using smart image processing, whereby the measurements and evaluations have no effect on the specified material flow.
