Specifically for detecting and handling small parts even in large detection areas, the BVS 3D-RV1 stereo camera from Matrix Vision is equipped with modern 12 MPixel global shutter CMOS sensors. This makes it suitable, for example, for reach-in-the-box applications in automation and logistics. An integrated pattern projector optimizes the capture of difficult parts with low visual texture. In addition, the adjustable lenses on cameras and projector lead to optimal results for different work areas. The included software library ensures compatibility with the GigE Vision and GenICam standards and thus the connection to own applications.
