Automation Technology: 3D scanner series C6

Automation Technology has developed a sensor chip with Widely Advance Rapid Profiling (WARP) technology for its C6-3070 3D laser scanner, which has a profiling speed of 38 kHz with an image area of 3,072 x 201 pixels and with a resolution of 3,072 points per profile. Other features of the C6-3070: Multipart and Multipeak functions. The former enables the simultaneous output of up to ten image features. Multipeak makes it possible to scan even highly reflective materials without annoying reflections. The scanner is used, for example, for inspections in industries such as semiconductors, steel or transportation.
