For video surveillance, color-related information is crucial and provides important details about an event. While almost all cameras have no problem with this during the day, this important color information - which is helpful for quick detection and investigation - is missing as soon as the surveillance of people, vehicles or other objects takes place at night or in rooms with little light.

Hikvision ColorVu technology solves this problem by using a very translucent lens (F1.0), a highly sensitive image sensor and powerful algorithms. The ColorVu cameras therefore enable to provide colorful images even in extremely dark environments and offer a direct response to intruders and effective deterrence by 2-way audio communication and strobe light.
