deTec4 Smart Box Detection is the first solution of its kind for pattern recognition. It can detect objects with a rectangular contour as they enter the protective field of the safety light curtain. Evaluation of the light beams interrupted in the process ensures reliable differentiation between human and material.

The safety solution is characterized by a high level of integration friendliness and requires neither additional signals from automation systems nor muting sensors during operation. This saves programming, mounting, and wiring efforts. If objects of different heights and lengths are to be detected, they do not have to be taught in additionally, nor does the configuration have to be adapted.
