The smart T-adapter makes it possible to integrate mechanical safety switches in an electronic series connection and even make them Industry 4.0-capable by providing diagnostic data. The device is a small connection box for everywhere where space is at a premium.

In order to be able to quickly recognise the status of the smart T-adapter and the connected mechanical switch, clearly visible LEDs are integrated on the front and back. Since the T-adapter and the connection box merge into only one device, components can be saved. This has a positive effect on the available space, the connection time and, of course, the costs.
