HID Global: Location Services for Workplace Safety

Amid the Corona pandemic, companies are trying to maintain business operations while ensuring the health and safety of their employees. HID Location Services for Workplace Safety relies on Smart Social Distancing, using key fobs that communicate via Bluetooth Low-Energy as well as Wi-Fi and utilize cloud-based technologies.

The devices provide an audible warning when employees fall below the minimum distance of two meters from their colleagues. In addition, the app enables automatic contact tracing. The system requires minimal infrastructure to install and operate, and can be easily integrated into existing building management systems using REST APIs.
