Modern video technology from Grundig Security facilitates the path to the "new" normality. With non-contact measurement of body temperature, detection functions for wearing mouth-nose protection masks and compliance with minimum distances, the risk of infection can be dealt with in many different ways in retail, public institutions and industry. Thermal imaging cameras with high temperature accuracy can detect elevated body temperatures within one second by means of contactless measurement. They are therefore well suited for use in places with long queues, such as passport control at airports or at the entrance to company buildings, to ensure the safety of both visitors and employees. The company's thermal imaging camera solution offers many options for detecting elevated body temperatures by means of pre-screening - as a cylinder IP camera or portable model, with or without blackbody. The measurements are analysed using the manufacturer's video management system.
The "Pose Detection" function integrated in the company's Video Management System automatically detects when the legal minimum distance is undercut. The alarm is triggered immediately and not only a snapshot of the scene but also a suitable video sequence is sent by e-mail.
The video "Social Distancing" shows how checking the minimum distance works with Pose Detection.
As in many other countries around the world, the wearing of a mouth-nose protection mask in parts of the public space is prescribed by law in Germany. Anyone who wants to go shopping or use public transport, for example, cannot avoid wearing a mask. With the mask recognition function of the Video Management System, it is possible to completely check whether all persons entering a supermarket, for example, are wearing appropriate mouth-and-nose protection.
If this is not the case, an alarm is automatically triggered. The video "Mask Detection" demonstrates how the Video Management System works when checking that masks are required.
