The Austrian metrology company Nextsense has developed a device for measurement of hot rolled profiles between single passes. For the first time ever, the measurement between passes is possible. The measurement device Calipri Hot provides more information due to the hot measuring method. Calipri Hot now makes it possible to measure them directly, allowing for a more precise adjustment of rollers. The portable Calipri Hot can be used at any point in the rolling mill. This means that you do not need a permanently installed profile measurement system.
