More Light on the Subject – Chromatic White Light Sensor

Zeiss has brought the first chromatic white light sensor on an articulating probe holder to market. For the very first time, it is possible for companies to scan their components from all sides in one measuring run – thanks to the rotatable DotScan. Not only does this save time, but more components can also be measured. It used to be the case that the prescribed measuring range of the sensor was exceeded because the workpieces had to be rotated manually. The sensor is currently available on the Zeiss Accura, a multi-sensor measuring machine.
