Speed-Module and Monitor

The KE4 speed module and monitor from Pepperl+Fuchs enable safe, simultaneous monitoring of speed and position. The compact solution offers numerous interfaces and protocols for universal use in a range of safety architectures, including AS-Interface.

Two rotary encoders or linear measuring sensors can be connected to the speed module via TTL, SSI, or sin/cos interfaces. Two safe outputs and a variety of safety functions enable it to be used in safety-critical applications. With paired encoders or with one secure encoder per axis of rotation, the module satisfies the requirements of safety level PL e.
