USB3 cameras from the Ximu series
XIMEA has introduced new models of its xiQ series. After the extremely small hyperspectral camera (xiSpec) and PCI Express based very fast xiB cameras - 20 megapixel with more than 30 frames per second (fps) and 12 megapixels with more than 130 fps - were completed, there now follows a new USB3 Vision camera model.
It has the resolution that is most requested in image processing field - 1.3 megapixels, that is offered through PYTHON 1300 sensor from Onsemi, which replaces the previous VITA 1300 with even higher performance.
Possessing dimensions of only 26 x 26 x 21 mm (CS mount), weight of 27 grams and power consumption of mere 1.3 Watt, this model delivers over 210 fps in full resolution and 810 fps in VGA resolution.
The new cameras complement existing series that offer models with VGA sensors like CMV300 sensor from CMOSIS, the 1.3 Mpixel E2V sensors Sapphire and Ruby (increased sensitivity in the near infrared) and the 2.2 and 4.2 Mpixel sensors CMV2000 and CMV4000 from CMOSIS also available as NIR version. All models can be supplied in board level option.
