Tube Sorter

IASP Lab Automation’s Sort Pro sorter offers a small, fast solution for automatic identification, registration and sorting of blood specimens.

It frees the lab techs from tedious scanning work and enables error free sorting, thus having data available in the LIS faster and minimizing the time spent searching for misrouted tubes. The sorter processes the tubes as bulk. This works faster than handling tubes in racks. By scanning the barcodes and reading the cap color of the incoming specimens, the instrument identifies each specimen, registers them with the LIS, and sorts them into convenient, easy to handle sample bins. The sorting targets are configured specific to each lab’s needs.

With its modular design it can be tailored for each lab’s needs. It is available with a freely configurable number of sorting targets and also with a material detection unit.
