Vacuubrand’s chemistry pumping unit PC 3001 Vario Pro provides a userfriendly and complete solution for all makes of rotary evaporator.

The heart of this compact pumping unit is a chemical-resistant diaphragm pump with an ultimate vacuum of 2 mbar – suited for use with high-boiling solvents. Even with open gas ballast valve, the pump still achieves 4 mbar – enough for evaporating high boiling point solvents – whilst also preventing internal condensation.

Due to its drive system, the pump is both particularly energy-efficient and quiet. Energy savings of up to 90% are achievable against comparable fixed drive pumps. The solution also features a fully automatic evaporation function via the integrated vacuum controller CVC 3000.
