Columbus Instruments’ Micro-Oxymax Respirometer is a highly adaptable closed-circuit system capable of measuring select gas consumption/production with a sensing threshold near 0.2 microliters per hour.
Protected by US, European, and Japanese patents, and built on a modular platform, the system is capable of measuring any combination of O2, CO2, CH4, CO, H2, H2S, and NO2 in 80 samples. Popular applications include degradation of plastics in compost, plastics in soil, and plastics in sludge. The instrument features fully automated operation, and simple maintenance procedures.
