Laser technology with Direct Intensity Modulation Capability

Cobolt announces higher pow­ers of its MLD compact diode laser modules at 473nm, 488nm, 638nm on the 06-01 Series platform.

The Series offers a standardized compact form factor and a wide wave­length span in a plug and play for­mat, utilizing the most ideal laser technology to achieve the wavelength whilst maintaining the form factor. The lasers are now available at 473 nm with up to 100 mW, 488 nm with up to 200 mW and 638 nm with up to 140 mW.

All lasers feature direct intensity modulation capability in terms of speed and depth and can be modulated up to 150 MHz and with up to 10 000 000:1 extinc­tion ratio. Manufactured using the manufacturer’s HTCure technology ensures reliability and longevity, and robustness.
