Safety relay monitors light curtain

The new PNOZ c2 safety relay from Pilz monitors light curtains up to Type 4 or OSSD outputs according to EN 61496. It has a reaction time of just 12 ms and reduces the extent of dangerous movements. Direct power supply of the light curtain from the PNOZ c2 evaluation unit ensures a reliable installation. The relay also has a monitored and an automatic start option. The device can be fitted without tools thanks to the integrated spring clips. The relay complies with the safety standard Performance Level (PL) e according to EN ISO 13849-1 and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) CL 3 according to IEC 62061.
